Thomas R. May

Tom May leads the single tenant investment services practice at May Center Advisors. Mr. May’s background includes over fifteen years of diverse experience in the Financial Services industry in acquisitions, dispositions, joint-ventures, business development and strategic planning. He previously held management roles with Capital One, Providian Financial, First Chicago and Arthur Andersen. Mr. May is a honors graduate of the University of Chicago’s Graduate School of Business and received his BBA from the University of Michigan.

Matthew A. DeDobbelaere

Matt DeDobbelaere leads the downtown and small center practice at May Center Advisors. Matt holds a Masters of Management degree (concentrations in finance and marketing) from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Prior to joining May Center Advisors, he was a senior sales leader for a division of IBM. He has in excess of twenty years of experience in key corporate roles and has been the recipient of several sales leadership awards. Matt graduated Summa Cum Laude from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science degree. In his spare time, Matt enjoys coaching his three children in a variety of sports.

Chris T. LaBounty

Chris LaBounty is involved in all facets of the operations of May Center Advisors. Mr. LaBounty’s background includes experience in financial analysis, acquisitions, due diligence, market research, shopping center development/redevelopment, property accounting, construction draw administration, TIF funding requests, equity and debt requests, preparation of construction and operating budgets and preparation of financial statements. Mr. LaBounty has previously held positions at Tri-Land Properties (Chicago area) and Munie Company (St. Louis area). Mr. LaBounty is a graduate of Illinois State University with Bachelor of Finance and Master of Accounting degrees.

Financial Analysts and Marketing Assistants

The May Center Advisors team has financial analysts and marketing assistants to provide a depth of support to the company’s endeavors. The backgrounds of these individuals include finance, administration and graphic arts. Responsibilities include financial analysis, market research, authorship of offering memoranda, preparation of financial projections utilizing ARGUS software, due diligence management, property/investor research, graphics creation, web site maintenance and marketing support.
